Worth It All (The McKinney Brothers #3) by Claudia Connor

Jake McKinney has seen his dreams shattered after a car accident. Crippled and traumatized by the consequences of the accident he caused, he feels unworthy of having a family one day. His focus has been on his successful business, engineering high-tech prosthesis. When he meets Paige Roberts and her four years old daughter Casey at a diner, he soon realizes that he could help them. He is also very attracted to Paige. But both of them are cautious and feel inadequate for different reasons. Paige sees herself as a plain, unnoticeable person and is ashamed of her trailer park background. Working two jobs and studying to make a better life for herself and her daughter, she doesn’t want a man to distract her from her goals, even a sexy and gorgeous one like Jake.

Can these two caring, generous persons take a chance on love and give a family to little Casey ?

This book was a pleasant, heartwarming and easy read with great main characters, a wonderful little girl and members of the close-knit and vibrant McKinney family. If you are in the mood for a sweet and feel-good story, this book is perfect for you.

Worth It All is the third book in the McKinney series, but can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first two books in the series yet, but will solve that asap !
