Fooling Around by Noelle Adams

Rating : 4 out of 5 Stars

I enjoyed this delightful romance! It was tender, sexy and emotional. I must admit that it was also rather predictable, but this didn’t spoil my enjoyment at all!

Eric Vincent is stuck in a wheelchair for the next three months, after a ski accident. A wealthy and successful businessman, he is used to being in control of all things in his life. The physical helplessness of being dependent on others is a torture to him, and he is very vocal about it!

When he meets Julie Nelson in a hospital, he instantly realizes she could help him and makes her an offer of employment she can’t refuse. A very practical girl and in need of money, Julie accepts his offer, despite her doubts on her ability to put up with Eric’s rude attitude and difficult character.

What follows is a journey of self-discovery for two persons who seem perfect for each other. Neither of them is an emotional risk taker and both are hiding their true feelings and vulnerability. Eric appears arrogant and selfish, Julie seems calm and withdrawn. But they have so much in common. Are they strong enough to change their view on life for a chance at happiness together?

I love reading Noelle Adams stories, and this one was no exception. If you are looking for a sweet and emotional romance, this book is perfect for you.
