Review : Everything for Her ( For Her #1) by Alexa Riley

Published December 27th 2016 by Carina Press
Rating : 4.5 out of 5 Stars

Alexa Riley has delivered a winner with this sinfully delightful read! This book is their first full-length story and it was a real holiday treat, with good story development and a completely over-the-top, swoon-worthy alpha hero!

Billionaire Miles Osbourne has his heart set on Mallory Sullivan since he first saw her.  But she was too young and he knew she would be scared by his intensity. So he decided to pull all the strings in the background, ensuring she was happy, protected and could study. More importantly, he set down a path that would eventually lead her to him. Mallory is an orphan who grew up in foster care and has no family. But she is smart and received scholarships that paid her way through university.

What appears to be a chance encounter with mysterious Miles, “Oz”, will turn her world upside down. Brilliant but somewhat naïve and inexperienced, Mallory is in way over her head with Oz. He is determined, extremely possessive and never takes no for an answer. He is controlling, but surprises her with sweet gestures and attentions. Oz is definitely an over-the-top, flawed hero, but his intensity took my breath away! I was not a fan of his stalking habits, though. He isn’t playing it cool, and tends to be overwhelming. However, his love for Mallory was so sincere, it won me over! His groveling was perfect and gives the reader a lot of insight into his personality and his complicated family background.

“Everything For Her” was an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish, intense, addictive, incredibly sexy, steamy and so romantic, with a wonderful, satisfying extended epilogue! These authors’ books have become a guilty pleasure of mine and I can’t wait for more! Enjoy!
