There’s a thin line between love and hate . . . and it cuts right through the middle of their office.
Bad boys? They run right over good girls like Georgina Keller.
But after a confidence-shattering breakup, she’s determined not to let anyone at her new workplace push her around—least of all the brooding creative director, a “bad boy of publishing” who’s made it clear she’s enemy #1.
Sebastian Quinn’s taste for fast cars, late nights, and beautiful women may have gotten him to the top of a leading New York magazine, but the reputation that made him is suddenly threatening to end his career.
Georgina can help Modern Man shed its bad reputation, but in order to do that, she’ll have to start at the top—and no amount of rakish charm or inconvenient attraction will distract her.
Because if Sebastian gets her right where he wants her, it means she’s going down.

I really enjoyed this romantic comedy. The story is engrossing, the characters well developed, and the story overall enjoyable, it manages to make your heart flutter!
Sebastian Quinn is the creative director of a struggling men’s lifestyle magazine. He is also considered a bad boy of publishing. He is passionate about his job, but for the first time in his career, he has stumbled.
Georgina Keller specializes in media consulting and has been hired to work alongside Sebastian and co-manage his department. At first, Sebastian sees Georgina as a threat and a frustrating disruption to his routine. He is not used to taking orders. Their opposing management styles and personality differences complicate their forced collaboration.
I loved the way Sebastian builds his relationship with Georgina, it was truly beautiful. I loved him eventually once the hard ass persona had gone. He has adapted to his professional surroundings and adopted a public persona, his confidence has been hard earned. The author allowed Georgina and Sebastian’s conflicted feelings to shine through which in turn allowed their relationship to slowly evolve. Their bickering and falling in love was cute and fun to read.
I loved that the author did not create her drama by weakening the heroine, but rather gave us a very strong willed female lead. Georgina has strength, and perseverance. She is also able to compromise.
I loved the connection between the characters. Even through all the issues, they can joke and have fun together. What really gives this story its edge is the warmth and humor that runs through it.
Many thanks to the author and Give Me Books PR for my early copy of this book!
